It is with sadness that we report the passing of WBro. Roy Padden to the Grand Lodge above.
He was very well known and fondly thought of by the brethren that knew him. Roy was initiated into Sabrina Lodge 6595 in November of 1977 and has served the craft with great enthusiasm for 43 years.
WBro. Padden was well known for his hard and diligent work at the Worcester Masonic Hall and especially within the Museum putting in many hours and helping it gain the high recognition that it still receives to this very day.
Roy was also a driving force behind getting new members into Freemasonry and will of course be one of the early memories of many a Brothers first experience in the Fraternity.
He was a founder member of Edward Fredrick Hanson Lodge and also George Taylor Lodge.
WBro. Padden was well known in the various progressive Orders that he was in alongside the Craft.
It was in 2016 when Roy was awarded with the Provincial Grand Masters Certificate of Merit for all the hard work that he put into the Province.
He will be sadly missed and our thoughts go out to his family at this sad time
