Robert was born in Birmingham and brought up there and also near to Bromsgrove. His schooling was at King Edward VI Camp Hill Grammar School in Birmingham and, until retirement, he practised as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He is married with two sons and a Grandson.
A Lewis, Robert was initiated in Lodge of St George No. 5691 by his father-in-law and was the Master in 1982 and again in 2001. When time allows he is a follower of cricket and rugby, enjoys cycling and pottering with his classic and “interesting” cars, finding steam railways to explore and the joys of hot air ballooning.
