CUBIT - Lands End to John O’Groats Virtual Bike Ride Update

And they're off!

· News articles

The CUBIT Club virtual bike ride started on Wednesday the 3rd with the aim to involve as many people as possible to ride 953 miles between them which is the length of the path from Lands End to John O’Groats.

The first day saw an excellent start with people hitting the miles hard and getting the ride from Lands End up to Taunton – Thursday is looking likely that the riders will have put in enough miles to have pushed from Taunton, through Bristol and up into Worcestershire

So far the money raised is at £1163 and counting…

You are able to ride anywhere locally, in your front room on an exercise bike or out and about on your pedal bikes. There are plenty of miles left to go so if you, your partner or friends want to get involved please get in touch.

This money will be designated for use here in Worcestershire for those charities and needy causes directly affected by Covid-19, this is different to the MCF initiative and is to be used at the discretion of the Provincial Grand Master to be dispersed appropriately across the province. Your donations can be forward to the cycle ride GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/f/cubit-club-cycle-ride

How to register: Email CCcycleride@gmail.com with the details of who will be riding and your intended mileage. These details will be added to our Ride Totaliser so we know how far we have ridden and how far to go. Please check out our Facebook page 'Cubit Club Cycle Ride' for more information, for pictures, stories and updates. On the day itself please forward your comments and pictures to the same Facebook page, once complete you can use our Winners Frame to capture a champions selfie.
