Worcestershire Freemasons ride from Lands' End to John O'Groats on a combined virtual cycle ride – 953 miles
Members of the Cubit Club, their families, friends and neighbours have ridden the distance between Lands End and John O’Groats in a sponsored virtual cycle ride.
32 riders, including the Provincial Grand Master Robert Vaughan, took it in turns to ride a portion of the route and then bank the miles.
The ride commenced 11am on Wednesday 3rd June, and concluded at 11am on Wednesday 10th June.
Organised by the Cubit Cub of Young Freemasons to gather funds for charities and worthy causes within Worcestershire which have been adversely affected by the pandemic.
The initial goal was for £1,000 but has now surpassed £2,000 thanks to the hard work and kind donations of brethren, family and friends.
A huge congratulations and well done to all of those involved.
." I share with all riders and sponsors my delight with this impressive achievement. Congratulations on the initiative and thanks to all who have responded and given their support."
