Acorns for the Three Counties
Worcestershire joined in the celebration at 'Acorns for the Three Counties' on Tuesday 12 November to see how Virtual Reality gives life-limited and disabled children in hospices opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have, through the magic of assistive technology.
W Bro Derek Taylor presented Toby Porter with £3000 as contributions from the Lottery Fund which with matched funding from MCF will give 'Lifelites' further funding to provide multi sensory technology games which will make a life-changing difference to the life-limited and disabled children of Acorns Hospice.
Lifelites donates specialist assistive technology packages for these children and young people to play, be creative, control something for themselves and communicate, for as long as it is possible.
